A tapered cup, thrown with a blend of textured iron-rich clays and glazed in Catkin, one of the finishes in the Birch collection.

Catkin: The signature swoosh of birch in mid-spring, branches laden with the green-gold glow of Catkins as they start to open. A pale green glaze that catches on the throwing rings to create bands of glassy golden crackle.

Cup thrown with a spiral detail in the inner base and throwing rings on the outside which catch some of the glassy golden crackle where the glaze pools. A pefect cup for clear drinks to bring the spiral and golden crackles at the base to life - water, white wine, green and white teas.

Dimensions: approx. 8 cm upper ø x 8.5 cm H.

Holds approximately 330 ml.
